Sr. Software Engineer

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, leading software developers in the design, development, and maintenance of both desktop and web applications. This role will involve modernizing our applications with the latest technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying web and desktop applications using .Net and Azure technologies.

• Drive software development results with minimal supervision and provide guidance to junior engineers.

• Apply expertise in writing maintainable and robust web and/or desktop-based software utilizing Microsoft C#.

• Lead and manage the code review process to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.

• Take ownership for solving complex problems, troubleshooting issues, and devising solutions to business problems.

• Work closely with the QA and DevSecOps teams to ensure thorough test coverage and developed features or bug fixes meet quality and security standards.

• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.

• Lead the development of web applications using front-end frameworks such as React and Angular.

• Apply your skills in application development, software engineering, and web development to enhance the functionality and user experience of our applications.

• Utilize React Hooks and ~~~ to create interactive UI components for our applications.

Requirements - Must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Extensive experience in application development and software engineering is crucial

• Demonstrable experience in web development is required

• Proficiency in front-end frameworks is necessary

• Should have solid knowledge and experience with React, React Hooks, and ~~~

• Familiarity with Angular is a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
