Sr. Systems Administrator

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a talented Systems Administrator to join our client's team in Arlington, VA. This role plays a crucial role in managing the software and hardware involved in running a computer network. The role is 5 days on-site and will support around 80-90 in office team members and a few remote employees. Responsibilities include:

* Systems Maintenance: Developing and maintaining all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.

* Recommendations: Providing recommendations for upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment.

* Technical Support: Offering hardware and software technical support to users.

* Network Configuration: Partnering with the Network Architect for basic configuration and monitoring.

* Security Measures: Employing the latest security protocols and performing regular security tests.

* Server Management: Installing and configuring server hardware and software.

* Documentation: Preparing program documentation and procedures.

Skills and Requirements

* 5+ years working as a System Administrator or similar experience

* Heavy knowledge of managing and maintaining virtual servers and storage

* Experience working in a VMWare environment

* Cloud knowledge: Azure preferred

* Experience with basic network firewall configuration and troubleshooting

* Experience with technical support for phone systems: WebEx preferred null
