  • Job Purpose

    Under general supervision, supervises and coordinates the activities of the Receiving Department. Performs work of those supervised, as necessary.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implement and ensure compliance of safety procedures and policies and maintain housekeeping standards with the understanding that safety is our #1 priority.

    • Plan and coordinate the activities of inbound associates to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

    • Identify areas for improvement/change, involve associates in the improvement/change process, and monitor the effectiveness of the improvement/change.

    • Oversee activities through the planning and scheduling of work, and the review and approval of tasks. Review associates' work assignments and performance development.

    • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

    • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.

    • Needs to understand and be able to perform and/or guide employees through any task required.

    • Needs certification on both sit down and stand-up forklifts.

    • Needs full knowledge of the RF gun and all options for Receiving.

    • Enforce company policies and procedures.

    • Train new team members on forklift operations.

    • Fill in for supervisor in their absents.

    • Fill in for team members when absent.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 1-3 years of experience

    • Demonstrated Leadership abilities

    • Available and willing to work any shift

    • Able to work in a fast-paced multiple task environment

    • Must be understand in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access skills.)

    • Must be a Team Player with excellent people skills.

    • Must be able to read and write in English.

    • Must be detailed oriented.

    • Must be willing to work irregular hours and overtime as needed.

    • Must get to understand High Jump and SAP. (training provided)
