We have an immediate opening for an experienced accounting assistant with a great business in Murfreesboro. This direct hire position requires someone skilled in payables and receivables, and wanting to learn and grow with a local company. A solid understanding of accounting principles is required and you must have a minimum of 2 years experience in full-charge bookkeeping or AR/AP. This position offers flexibility, stability, and growth potential for someone who wants to avoid the Nashville traffic!

salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

The Accounting Clerk position is primarily responsible for providing accounting support and performing accounting and clerical functions.

• Create invoices, post payments and run aging reports

• Collections

• Code and enter invoices to the G/L, check runs, account and bank reconciliations

• Assist with month end

• Create financial reports

• Purchasing

• Backup for payroll
