Staff Accountant

Description

Robert Half is currently looking for a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team. As a full-time employee, you will work on diverse and challenging engagements that will leverage your existing skills and offer opportunities to learn new ones. Responsibilities

1. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports.

2. Reconciliation of account balances and bank statements.

3. Ensure accurate, timely reporting of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and payroll.

4. Prepare and process journal entries and maintain detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.

5. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

6. Provide support during internal and external audits.

7. Adhere to company's policies and procedures.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

2. 2-5 years of proven experience as a staff accountant.

3. Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software.

5. Excellent analytical skills with careful attention to detail.

6. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
