  • The Strategy/Process Improvement Senior Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends to resolve problems in unconventional ways, strives to provide a remarkable experience and adapts to apply outcomes within our function and supported organization. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects processes across Operations and Technology.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work within the O&T Business Execution: Foundational Service Global Strategic Initiatives function, supporting the development and implementation of strategies to enhance and simplify O&T business execution. Analyze and assess implications for the business, and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess new opportunities, investments, and partnership projects.

    • Own end-to-end execution of global programs from problem identification through requirements definition and solution implementation

    • Champion the development & implementation of global programs, including standardized review, tracking, and reporting mechanisms

    • Leads the efforts to identify risks, dependencies and issues across global programs and coordinates mitigation actions

    • Drive progress and associated activities across the organization to achieve strategic growth objectives

    • Proactive focus on global delivery of global programs with specific focus on items that cross sector and cross region

    • Follow emerging industry trends and potential disrupters to segments and strategy.

    • Deliver specific ad-hoc analysis and tactical support in preparation for business and management meetings.

    • Demonstrate a significant grasp of the organization, the business, and the markets to deliver crisp and succinct executive-level responses.

    • Grasp key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and create clear written presentations/communications

    • Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.

    • Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used.

    • Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.

    • Plan response to work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.

    • Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.

    • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.

    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years experience in Financial Services, Program/Project Management and/or Lean/Six Sigma process improvement.

    • Project planning and management experience.

    • Prior Consulting experience.

    • Understands consumer financial services businesses and operating model

    • Proven strategic thinking and analytic skills coupled with financial acumen. Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency.

    • Able to translate data and metrics from across different constituencies in order to create clear and concise executive presentation materials. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Able to create support across a wide range of stakeholders through well-developed interpersonal and influencing capabilities.

    • Possesses excellent written and verbal communications skills. Able to work through a large, complex matrix organization; demonstrates a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks.

    • Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down business and/or functional silos to optimize results.

    • Franchise player; broad, critical thinker, self-motivated; comfortable working with ambiguity.

    • Organizationally savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret. Pragmatic problem solver, forward thinker with independence of thought.

    • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

    Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

    $130,880.00 - $196,320.00
