Supervisor - Patient Access

Overview

St. Luke's Health System in Ketchum, ID is seeking a Supervisor - Patient Access to join our Patient Access - Hospital Registration team.

Summary

The successful candidate will be a working supervisor responsible for the management of day-to-day operations and coordination of department according to assigned scope. Must have the flexibility to cover shifts for callouts. This role will supervise a team of 7+ employees. If you are action oriented with a drive for process and can work independently leading a strong Patient Support Team - this role is for you.

Requirements:

• Ensures department workflows and staff development programs are implemented.

• Provides day-to-day oversight to a team of Patient Access professionals.

• Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff.

• Selects, develops, coaches, mentors and assesses performance of staff.

• Ensures compliance of policies/practices for department and provides support for adherence.

• Performs difficult and complex duties requiring advanced techniques, extensive and diversified knowledge within specialized areas.

• Makes decisions independently and authorizes actions as needed.

• Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.

• Assists in hiring, training, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions required with staff.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associates degree or 2 years' experience in lieu of degree

• Experience: 4 years relevant experience in addition to education requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: None
