Who you are:

• A detail-oriented individual, who can oversee and facilitate the data management and reporting process for cost reduction initiatives

• An effective communicator, who can provide thorough analysis of the financial scorecard process and deliver recommendations to support Global Procurement Programs

• An efficient project manager, who can oversee ventures related to supplier reduction, including source investigation, selection, and transition execution

What you will do:

• Performance Reporting

• Accurate tracking, monitoring, and reporting of performance vs. Annual Operating Percent (AOP)

• Collect, input, and evaluate monthly inflation and cost reduction results

• Oversee the Americas Cost Reduction project process

• Data Analysis

• Collect Purchase Price Variance (PPV) inputs from the Plants

• Analyze and evaluate the actual cost change results vs. Procurement projections

• Ensure PPV accuracy in comparison to the AOP and additional forecasts and resolve any discrepancies with Plant Controllers

• Procurement Decisions

• Conduct make versus buy investigations as requested, analyze the data and feedback, then determine best total cost solution and review with the appropriate Managers

• Scope, plan, conduct electronic and / or reverse auctions, and finalize source selection direction for applicable commodities as requested

• Support misc. projects, procurement initiatives, and develop ad hoc reports for management.

What you will need:

• Bachelors in Supply Chain or equivalent field of study

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience

• Advanced level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access

Skills, Experience & Abilities

• SAP experience desired

• Effective time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities

• Problem solving and project management skills

• Excellent written and oral communication
