Systems Administrator

Description Robert Half is hiring!! We are offering an exciting role in the IT Services industry, located in Charleston, South Carolina. As a Systems Engineer, you will be providing day-to-day support to our diverse customer base, managing support technicians, and enhancing your understanding of network topography, security, and hospitality software solutions. This role also offers the opportunity to gain certifications in multiple IT Software Systems disciplines.

Responsibilities: - Assist a wide range of customers with their day-to-day support requests and installations in the field. - Effectively manage and assist Support Technicians with trouble tickets and deployments. - Enhance your understanding of network topography, security, hospitality software solutions, and more. - Participate in problem solving and process improvement with the rest of your team. - Gain certifications in multiple disciplines with a wide range of world-class IT Software Systems. - Utilize your advanced experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server Active Directory. - Demonstrate your advanced experience with LAN/WAN/VPN/VLAN management/troubleshooting and deployment. - Exhibit your advanced skills in Enterprise WIFI deployment and management. - Use your experience with Sophos Firewall and Security Systems, Meraki Firewall, Zyxel Firewall and Switching. - Apply your experience with VOIP Telephony Systems. - Leverage your experience with Autotask CRM, Datto RMM, Datto Backup, Axcient File Storage/Sync. - Show your data cable termination experience and familiarity with basic tools. - Utilize your point of sale experience. Requirements - Proven experience in the IT services industry, specifically as a Systems Engineer.

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with VMware.

• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage complex systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system issues.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Systems Engineering detail oriented (CSEP) would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with other virtualization technologies and cloud platforms would be beneficial.

• A commitment to continuous detail oriented development and staying updated with emerging trends in the field.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
