    Key Qualifications

    • 5+ years work experience spanning full product life cycle in productization of systems which utilizes electromechanical assemblies.

    • Hands on experience in designing specification trees, fish bone diagram, spec decomposition, performing complex error budget analysis (applying statistical methods and models)

    • Experience with system design for bio-mechanics safety

    • Experience with systems validation of electro-mechanical architecture, bring up and triage

    • Experience with Feature (inter-dependent sub-systems) level FACA (Failure Analysis and Correction Action)

    • Experience with defining control loops and control system architecture for complex multi-dependent sub-system

    • Strong team player and creative thinker who has experience supporting/guiding technical teams, cross-functional groups

    • Ability to present highly technical topics and deep dives to leadership team on a biweekly - monthly cadence

    • Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems

    • MR/AR productization experience is a plus

    Description

    We are seeking an experienced, technical, detail oriented Systems Engineer with focus on embedded sensing & controls architecture for electromechanical features. In this role you will be the glue to tie together mechanical, electrical, SW and Embedded controls design into a realizable architecture for great user experience. Overall - this is a key role to make sure that our system is architected and productized in a way to provide a magical and personalized experience for our users.

    Education & Experience

    Bachelor or Masters in EE, ME, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering ; courses in control systems is preferred

    • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
