    Job Description

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Own and define the strategy and product roadmap for a core product and / or service for Data Governance Capability for the data management life cycle for business data owners and IT data stewards collaboratively with Enterprise Partners.

    • Partner with business, internal/external stakeholders, and leadership to understand current customer experiences, identifies areas of opportunity, create, and manage large or complex product vision and roadmap.

    • Lead and manage backlog and priorities with stakeholders and partners including Digital Security Organization, Privacy Office, Data Council, Data Stewards and multiple technology, business and compliance teams including benefits and value delivery planned with target KPIs.

    • Monitor compliance with the company's established Data Governance Policy, framework, and procedures and review of periodic monitoring results from business Data Stewards to identify risks.

    • Manage Sprint delivery in Agile Dev Ops environment for ongoing delivery of new features and integrations and defect delivery including manage vendor for product defect fixes and enhancements for upcoming feature delivery on 3rd Party product platform.

    • Support User adoption, training, and communications to drive utilization of your products and services and champion and conduct Data Governance training to users as needed.

    • Support product KPIs for Data Governance reporting framework including but not limited to preparing reports on key data governance KPIs, issues, risk, and concerns to leadership stakeholders.

    • Stay abreast of data governance, privacy and security industry trends and best practices and leading products for maturation and growth of T-Mobile products and services you own.

    Job Requirements

    • 9+ years of relevant Product Management, Product Owner experience in agile software product development environment.

    • Industry expert on current best practices of Technical Product Management and within the data management and / or cybersecurity.

    • Stays relevant through ongoing training, conferences, or education in one or more of the following disciplines: Cybersecurity, Data Privacy Management, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, Data Classification.

    • Extensive experience building product roadmaps, envisioning, and defining programs, writing detailed functional specifications, and delivering projects.

    • Strong background in data management, data relationships, data mining and quantitative vs. qualitative analytics.

    • Required knowledge and experience in BI/Reporting with Data Warehousing and Big Data.

    • Experience with executive-level communications, tracking project interdependencies, communicating issues and risk, and management relationships with business team executives at Sr. Manager, Director, VP, and SVP levels.

    • Ability to work independently and support multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.

    • Expert communicator who can lead and manage senior level relationships across organizational boundaries and vendor relationships.

    • Working knowledge of Agile, Dev Ops and traditional SDLC methodologies.

    • Ability to work independently and support multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.

    • Desire to learn from your success and failures as well as from the experiences of others.

    • Natural disposition to work with urgency and limited guidance from your supervisor.

    • Background in applying best practices to development and operational processes.

    • Solid understanding of framework development and piloting for rapid delivery of tools and processes.
