    Join our team of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, and technicians innovating the latest technology in the Integrated Products Division (IPD) of ARA. Our interns are valued members of the team, tasked with work that is critical to the success of our projects. Tasks include troubleshooting sensor and robotic components, integration and testing of our robotic systems, design reviews, formal qualification, and much more.

    This Technical Intern position is to directly support the IPD team in developing, testing and delivering the Pathfinder, Modular Robotic Applique Kit (M-RAK), and Geotechnology projects and products. You will support senior engineers and scientists.

    This is a part-time opportunity.

    • What you'll do as a Technical Intern 3

    • Aiding engineers, scientists and senior technicians in the development of robotic and sensor products:

    • Trouble shooting electrical circuits

    • Assembling electrical and mechanical components

    • Performing subsystem and system testing

    • Participating in design artifact generation and review

    • Technical Intern 3 Requirements

    • Must be a junior or senior in college actively pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Electro-Mechanical engineering, or equivalent.

    • Must be able to effectively communicate and work within a team

    • Must be familiar with reading and comprehending electrical schematics

    • Must be familiar with oscilloscope, digital multimeters, and power supplies

    • Technical intern 3 Preferences

    • OrCAD, or equivalent experience

    • SolidWorks Familiarity

    • Soldering experience
