    Our client is seeking a Technology Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Manager to join their team.

    As the Technology Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Hardware Asset Management practice for AD Technology. The HAM ITAM Manager will be responsible for working with all AD group companies and entities to provide HAM ITAM program leadership and direction to ensure governance, including policies, controls, standards, and procedures, is in place to meet regulatory, operational, audit and reporting requirements when it comes to hardware asset management. Responsible for leading a team to maintain accurate inventory of all hardware assets, both physical and virtual, and to provide governance for compliance in relation to standard hardware for both end user and data center products with internal policies, controls, and third-party contracts. This includes the end-to-end asset lifecycle from planning, acquiring, deployment, management, and retirement/disposal of hardware assets. The Hardware Asset Management Manager will also be responsible for ensuring successful audits are achieved as and when they are necessary. The HAM ITAM Manager will report to the AD Technology IT Asset Management Manager and is responsible for supporting the build-out and operation of the AD Technology IT Asset Management practice.

    Role Objectives

    • Participate and contribute expertise in a multi-year program to develop and govern HAM ITAM that is compliant to regulatory standards and core authoritative frameworks.

    • Support the implementation, administer, and enforce all IT asset management governance requirements and related technology policies, controls, standards, procedures, and processes related to ITAM.

    • Monitor hardware compliance and usage to identify, reallocate and remove unused hardware.

    • Create compliance reports and analysis to review with asset and business application owners for support renewals, audits, or ad hoc requirements on a regular basis.

    • Ensure audit compliance for the HAM IT assets.

    • Guide IT Asset HAM team members in the daily administration of all hardware management related activities.

    • Support internal customers and stakeholders such as Vendor Management, Security, Finance, Compliance and Legal before, during or after internal and regulatory audits to ensure that they are not procuring unnecessary hardware and end user devices are re-harvested.

    • Manage physical inventory validations, reconciliation in support of contract renewals by providing them an overview of what they currently have, what they use and what they should true-up or renew.

    • Manage Asset Discovery, Inventory Data Management, HAM KPIs/KRIs, and Reporting,

    • Represent HAM within Change Management

    • Engage with Projects to provide Hardware Asset Management and HAM related deliverables.

    • Interact and bridge gaps between other key engagement threads.

    • Continuously improve and innovate Hardware Asset Management processes and standard methodologies based on industry best practices.

    • Develop Key Performance Indicators for program success and report up to management.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • A minimum least 8-10 years of experience in HAM Asset Management or End of life (Obsolescence) practice in Technology, Financial Sector, and or Regulatory relevance

    • Demonstrated experience with HAM governance development and optimization

    • Delivered HAM to a major organization either nationally or internationally in coordination with Configuration

    • Expert, deep level technical and governance knowledge of HAM processes and tools

    • Excellent technical knowledge of Asset Management technologies and best practices/frameworks

    • Excellent analytical and data handling skills

    • Extensive understanding of regulatory requirements such as: FFIEC and NIST

    • Be proactive and anticipate roadblocks, assist with issue escalations.

    • Experience leading diverse and geographically dispersed project teams.

    • Strong communication skills - Spelling, Grammar, and ability to succinctly convey details in non-technical way.

    • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive.

    • Demonstrated relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships across business units and key functional support areas

    • Strong judgmental and critical thinking skills

    • Detail oriented, with proven ability to challenge and identify opportunities within existing processes and business practices.

    • BS or BA in Management Information Systems, Information Management, or related field a plus

    Technical Capabilities / Experience:

    • Strong knowledge of Software Asset Management tools and technologies

    • Working knowledge of Hardware Asset Management and CMDB tools and technologies

    • Strong edge and demonstrated experience of Software Licensing and software procurement best practices.

    • IT Transformation or modernization Program Experience is a plus

    • Experience or education around contracts and contract interpretation

    • Strong knowledge of top publisher licensing for both end user and data center products

    • Certified Hardware Asset Manager (CHAM), Certified Hardware Asset Manager Professional (CHAMP)

    Certifications and Training

    • Certified Hardware Asset Manager (CHAM), IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Hardware Asset Professional (CHAMP), Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), Software vendor licensing training programs, Certified Asset Management Security Expert (CAMSE)

    • ServiceNow PDSM SAM Pro/CMDB, Some knowledge of Airwatch, SCCM, Tanium, InTune, JAMF, Technopedia, eProcurement, Oracle Cloud
