    We are looking for Territory Sales Executive to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business in the IoT smart lighting industry. You will be responsible for driving sales within the Southeastern United States, building, and managing relationships with lighting channel ecosystem (end customers, lighting reps, EC's, distributors, ESCO's, and specifiers) customers and promoting our IoT smart lighting solutions.

    You'll make an impact as you:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration within the assigned region/territory in the IoT smart lighting industry.

    • Identify and target potential customers and partners, including architects, engineers, lighting designers, facility managers, energy managers, directors of sustainability, VP of construction, and other stakeholders interested in adopting IoT-enabled smart lighting solutions.

    • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers and partners, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with their goals.

    • Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our IoT smart lighting solutions, highlighting how they enhance energy efficiency, optimize operations, and improve user experience.

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and technical support, to ensure customer satisfaction, project implementation success, and effective after-sales support.

    • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities in the IoT and smart lighting space, providing strategic insights to enhance sales effectiveness.

    • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.

    • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, including revenue quotas, product mix goals, and market share objectives.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.

    • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities within the region/territory.

    You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in lighting or lighting controls sales

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other Business major

    • Ability to travel up to 50% to meet with customers, attend industry events, and conduct sales activities

    • This position must be based remotely within the following states to support the geography of Enlighted's business partners: Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, or Utah. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

    • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of the IoT, lighting controls and smart lighting industry, including trends, technologies, products, and customer requirements

    • Strong understanding of IoT concepts and their application to smart lighting solutions

    • Excellent sales and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify leads, build rapport, and close deals

    • Proficiency in using CRM software (specifically Salesforce) and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities

    • The base salary range for this position is $88,340 - $151,440. Additionally, a commission plan is also part of the compensation package for this sales position. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
