    A Testing and Quality Assurance is needed for an American defense, aviation, information technology, and biomedical research company in the Tewksbury, MA area. This role manages technical quality assurance, oversees manufacturing QA/QC practices, conducts inspections, and coordinates supplier audits, requiring expertise in GD&T, SPC, and strong communication.

    responsibilities

    • Provide QA support, implement QA/QC practices into manufacturing process.

    • Drive standard work and monitor staff performance.

    • Direct final operational test/verification (system) on 1st shift.

    • Support Factory Acceptance Testing, final paperwork/packaging review before shipment.

    • Perform supplier audits/qualification.

    • Manage Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) for the facility.

    • Provide Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) training as needed.

    • Update Quality documents for the facility.

    Must-Haves:

    • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

    • Reading engineering prints, technical reports, raw material specifications, acceptance test reports

    • Quality Assurance Inspection of Received Goods

    • Measuring Gauges/CMMs/Micrometers

    • Height/Plug/Thread gauges

    • Go/No-Go gauges

    • Statistical Process Control (SPC)

    Nice-to-Haves:

    • Gauge Reliability & Repeatability (GR&R)

    • Measurement System Analysis (MSA)

    • Familiarity with ANSI Z1.4 Sampling plans for receiving inspection

    Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
