    Job Summary :

    Trane Technologies is now taking applications for Machinist and/or Tool and Die Maker in its La Crosse production facilities.

    Responsibilities:

    Successful candidates must be able to work safely and effectively as a competent Machinist/Toolmaker in tool room and production environments. Leadership and CNC machine experience are preferred. Applicants must be able to read/interpret blueprints. Sound communication skills are a must for this position. Applicants must have their own precision tools, be capable of performing quality work in a safe manner, and work as a team player.

    Qualifications:

    A Two-year associate degree in Machine Tool Techniques or equivalent work experience is required. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Journeyman Machinist or 4 years' experience as a Tool and Die Maker are preferred. Will also consider an apprenticeship for qualified candidates not meeting the above criteria. Applicants must be available to work any shift.

    Starting pay - $28.69 to $32.24/hour plus overtime as required

    Shift premium - $2.50/hour additional pay for off shifts at the start of employment

    Vacation & PTO/Sick Leave - Earn up to 112 hours in your first 12 months

    401K Match - Up to 5% employer contribution after probationary period.

    Insurance - Medical and dental coverage after probationary period
