    Job Summary

    As a Training and Development Specialist at Freshpack, you'll collaborate closely with subject matter experts across all levels of the organization, playing a pivotal role in shaping various aspects of our operations. This position offers the opportunity for direct impact and growth within our dynamic company. Your primary objective will be to enhance the training initiatives across Freshpack, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives from onboarding to career progression through our pay-for-performance programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Utilize SafetyCuture, an integrated workplace safety, quality, and operations software platform, to manage safety and training.
    • Develop engaging training materials such as videos, presentations, tests, and guides to facilitate learning and comprehension of polices and procedures.
    • Partner with the subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and craft content that meets regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
    • Conduct training sessions for employees at all levels and evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and assessments.
    • Establisha comprehensive training program utiliziing existing resources and implement a feedback and corrective action system.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to HR, safety, and compliance training.
    • Maiintain and track employee training records guiding employees and managers on training requirements and resources.
    • Conduct audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement necessary improvements.
    • Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous learning through effective communication and education efforts.
    • Ensure proficiency among employees in using SafetyCulture, Paylocity, and other relevant systems.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Communications, Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Availability for second-shift work as needed.
    • 1+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in HR or training support roles.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex information.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, owerPoint) and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS); experience with SafetyCulture is advantageous.
    • Basic understanding of HR principles, compliance regulations, and training methodologies.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Confidence in presenting to diverse audiences and managing multiple projects independently.
    • Key attributes: Creative and tenacious mindset, comfortable working with individuals requiring retraining or with limited English proficiency, outgoing and enjoys teaching and content creation.

    Compensation details: 50000-60000 Yearly Salary
