Training Instructor

Summary

Chenega Integrated Security Solutions is looking for a Training Instructor to perform oversight of the Training Program for the Plum Island Animal Disease Center.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the timeliness, accuracy, and proficiency of contract-related recordkeeping responsibilities for the Training Program

• Required to follow all company, personnel, and safety policies while performing all assigned duties in a safe work manner.

• Responsible for instructing the NWDTP for Protective Security Officers conducting X-Ray and non-X-Ray screening operations

• Ensures recurring and specialized training for all required contract personnel are completed within time allotted

• Responsible for supervision of assigned personnel.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship

• Valid state driver's license.

• Minimum 2 years of training experience in Law Enforcement, Military, or Security Services.

• Must successfully complete and maintain the Government NWDTP Instructor Course prior to performing as a NWDTP Instructor.

• Meet all Weapons Training and Qualification requirements under this contract.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.

• Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.

• Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
