Excellent Job Opportunity as an Underwriting Analyst! Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Responsibilities: - Performs accurate analysis and risk assessment for new business group Medicare Advantage opportunities. - Complexity of work increases as technical skills progress. - Works with mentor/manager to recommend pricing and/or alternatives based on financial analysis, underwriting principals, and business strategy. - Utilizes basic functionality of underwriting tools, systems, and reference materials to produce accurate new business proposals.

salary: $27.98 - $27.99 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate analysis and risk assessment for new business group Medicare Advantage opportunities.

• Complexity of work increases as technical skills progress.

• Works with mentor/manager to recommend pricing and/or alternatives based on financial analysis, underwriting principals, and business strategy.

• Utilizes basic functionality of underwriting tools, systems, and reference materials to produce accurate new business proposals.

• Applies underwriting guidelines and escalates underwriting exceptions/financial variances for their assigned cases to the appropriate level.

• Assists sales personnel in explaining strategy, rate development and communicating underwriting policy.

• Produces timely and accurate customer specific documents, deliverables and case related information.

• Assists department with projects or workgroups.

• May identify and support process improvement through automation or process change.
