  • Overview

    The Senior UX Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our digital properties. This role will be parts strategy, research and data analysis, and parts hands-on design/design management, fostering a collaborative environment with leaders, team members and vendors to innovate user-centric solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating seamless, intuitive digital experiences, is an advocate for users and in making data-driven decisions and has a proven track record of owning/driving projects in execution from beginning to end.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting User Research

    • Cultivate a deep empathy for users and a commitment to understanding their interactions with ABM across platforms. Be an advocate for users and user research within the organization.

    • Foster a user-centric culture by implementing top-tier UX methodologies, leading and harnessing the power of UX Research, and nurturing an atmosphere conducive to experimentation, innovation, and validation.

    • Utilize various research methods, including surveys, qualitative interviews, and usability testing, to inform design decisions.

    • Continually monitors and pivots design to improve conversion rate (CR) through A/B testing and user testing programs.

    • Data & Analytics Management

    • Evolve and optimize web data analysis platforms and processes to discern actionable insights from user data.

    • Manage dashboards and reporting systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to user experience.

    • Collaborate with content, web and external partner teams to integrate data-driven decision-making into the UX design process.

    • Conducting Iterative Design Sprints

    • Facilitate and participate in iterative design sprints, fostering collaboration across teams.

    • Facilitate design thinking workshops to ideate, prototype, and validate design concepts.

    • Create, maintain and prioritize a backlog, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business goals.

    • Wireframe & Prototype Generation

    • Hands-on generation of wireframes and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.

    • Collaboration/oversight of UX and development resources to ensure the seamless transition from ideation to implementation.

    • Ongoing iteration of designs based on feedback and user testing results.

    • Governance & Evolution of Componentized UI Design System

    • Establish and enforce governance processes for maintaining a componentized UI design system.

    • Continually evolve the design system to ensure consistency and scalability across digital environments.

    • Collaborate with development teams to implement, maintain and test design system components.

    Qualifications:

    • Expertise in driving the end-to-end iterative design process, including expertise in developing and utilizing personas, job stories, journey mapping, content modeling, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals.

    • Experience leading design research, including competitive analysis, pattern research, qualitative interviews, A/B testing, and insights synthesis.

    • Exhibit excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to demonstrate the "why" behind design rationale for both the team and stakeholders.

    • Strong background in user research, data analytics, and data-driven design.

    • Minimum of 7-10 years in a design related or research field, with a strong portfolio of UX/UI, design system or user-centric UXR-based case study work.

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

    • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)

    • Proficiency in working with popular data and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Ahrefs, etc)

    • Strong project planning, time management, collaboration and organizational skills.

    • Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining componentized UI design systems.

    • Experience working with ADA/accessibility and data consent compliance requirements.

    • Experience working within CMS systems to build pages and maintain content. Hands-on knowledge with Webflow is a plus.

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
