  • Minimum qualifications

    • 5 years of experience in business operations, project management, or vendor management.

    • Experience in analytics, spreadsheets, and with SQL.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Master's degree.

    • Experience in business operations, data center, and networking equipment.

    • Experience in supplier management tools, data analytics capabilities, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

    • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.

    • Excellent decision-making, communication, and follow-up skills.

    As the Google infrastructure is continuously upgraded and refreshed, the Global Value Recovery team must support an environmentally responsible end-of-life strategy for all used or surplus data center technology.

    In this role, you will work closely with third-party logistics and remarketing partners globally, stay informed of governmental and compliance requirements in each region/country, and closely manage and monitor the chain of custody and certificates of destruction for all items. As a key member of the Value Recovery team, you will manage multiple projects to support global stakeholders and Google's sustainability initiatives.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     • Work with global teams within technical infrastructure to drive a consolidated process for remarketing components.

    • Manage and monitor metrics for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), remarketing performance scorecards, monthly reporting, invoicing and control of material movement.

    • Drive metrics creation and build dashboards to provide visibility into core elements of the business as well as drive alignment and prioritization of initiatives. Develop and build partner scorecards and presentations to be utilized in quarterly business reviews.

    • Manage the day-to-day remarketing transactions with our internal and external partners, managing business order creation and logistics movements to our third-party remarketing partners.

    • Ensure that all data and intellectual property is strictly controlled during the entire life cycle of the product within our ownership and recognize process improvement opportunities to improve returns and efficiencies.
