  • As a Major Accounts VAR Partner Account Manager, you will identify and cultivate new business opportunities by activating Value Added Reseller partnerships to enable the sales activities of the VAR sales team. Identifying, gaining access and maintaining VAR partnership while delivering ADP's very unique ERP and HCM value proposition will be key as you work with some of the best and brightest in the industry. By building relationships with these firms, the expectation will be to pull leads from various centers of influence that exist in the VAR organization. This is inclusive but not limited to sales consultants, business development, solution architects, consultants, and account managers. Through these interactions and relationships, you will build and maintain a healthy revenue and logo pipeline all while building your own brand in the VAR and ERP community.

    Responsibilities

    You will be able to grow your own business while still having the support of exceptional sales leadership, continual sales training, advancement opportunities, and industry-leading compensation, benefits and rewards. Additional responsibilities include the following:

    • Consistently achieve/exceed an annual logo sales quota that is representative of the sum of the logo expectation from each of the VAR partners assigned to a territory list.

    • Activate VAR firms through business development activities included but not limited to conducting trainings, sharing best practices, rev gen campaigns, webinars, pipeline reviews, generating client testimonials, etc.

    • Consistently grow VAR's ADP pipeline by developing and executing VAR firm business plans to define your strategies and tactics for success.

    • Develop strong relationships and collaborate closely with internal channels with product, pre-sales, marketing and VAR sales DM's.

    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team to drive enablement efforts of VAR partners who are reselling ADP's technology.

    • Understand and be subject matter expert in technical knowledge across ADP's Workforce Now platform and ERP integrations.

    ADP believes in setting you up for success. As such, appropriately ramped quotas are assigned to all first year Partner Account Managers.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5+ years of quota carrying, outside business-to-business sales experience, with proven proficiency in selling and presentation skills, prospecting, and territory management

    • Track record of over achieving quota

    • Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment

    • New Business sales and ERP or VAR partner sales experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Minimum 5- 10 years of relevant experience in HCM, business consulting, finance or accounting

    • In depth understanding of strategic sales processes

    • Strong communication and presentation skills to C-suite level executives

    • Ability to leverage social media to promote thought leadership ideas and drive business development opportunities in your local market

    • Utilize established network connections

    • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand multiple industry issues and potential ways to integrate ADP's HCM solutions

    • Mature and self-confident

    • Capacity to work under pressure

    • ERP, Consulting or Finance Experience

    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners

    Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $53,100.00 - $115,000.00 / Year
