    Jacobs is seeking a Wastewater Project Manager (PM) to lead the team in Quincy, WA, where you'll be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the project including profit and loss, permit compliance, safety, quality and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training and development. Working with other members of the team and the client you'll build and maintain positive business and customer relationships and lead the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facility. You'll also be responsible for implementing safety policy and procedures and maintaining the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies.

    You'll oversee a project that includes a Municipal Wastewater Plant, Industrial Wastewater Plant, a Reuse facility that utilizes reverse osmosis, water softening and ultra filtration to supply cooling water to a nearby data center and 5 drinking water wells and reservoirs servicing a community of over 7,000 people.

    Quincy is located near the center of Washington State and is the gateway to the Wenatchee Valley, Leavenworth and Okanogan Valley. Located close by is the Gorge Amphitheater which draws an estimated 3,000 to 20,000 people per concert.

    The base salary range for this position is $106,200 to $185,800. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    Here's what you'll need :

    **Qualifications - candidate hired must match all qualifications listed

    • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in the operation and maintenance of a water or wastewater facility

    • Four (4) years of supervisory experience

    • Ability to operate SCADA systems and other computerized equipment

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

    • Valid driver's license with no major infractions

    Ideally, You'll Also Have:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • State of Washington or ABC Wastewater Grade 4

    • BA/BS degree

    • Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong technical problem-solving skills

    • Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule

    • Understanding of the technical aspects of the facility to be managed

    • Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills

    • Experience developing and working within an approved budget. Specifically tracking costs, adjusting activities to stay on budget, and optimizing labor and materials

    • Proficient with financial budgeting and reports, specifically experience preparing operational reports for both internal and external clients

    Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

    The work area can involve a working environment indoors, as well as, outdoors which could cause exposure to outdoor elements; proper environmental attire will be required. Some areas can have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, pathogens and various chemicals. Safety is of the utmost importance. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.

    Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, twist and bend at the waist, turn, kneel, squat, raise arms above shoulder height, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements and fine coordination when preparing reports and using a computer keyboard, have vision sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents and operate office equipment, have hearing in the normal range with or without correction. In an 8-hour time period must be able to transport self across the facility, ascend and descend stair steps, lift objects up to 50 pounds from floor level to waist height, wear and use appropriate safety equipment.
