The Wood and Materials Installer will collaborate with a team to construct, install, and repair various structures and fixtures using wood and other materials. The role requires proficiency in English, basic math skills, and physical endurance to withstand extended periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling in diverse work environments and weather conditions. Candidates must also have a clean driving record, as this job requires driving company truck to client worksites Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in using small hand tools like hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, and wrenches.

• Ability to operate a level, carpentry square, and read a tape measure accurately.

• Competence in utilizing hand-held air and power tools such as saws, routers, drills, and grinders.

• Comfort and capability to climb and work from ladders and scaffolding at specified heights.

• Adaptability to work in various weather conditions.

• Manual dexterity, good balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.

• Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects as needed, within specified weight limits.

• Ability to hold heavy objects overhead in coordination with other team members.

• Spanish ability is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading the truck with necessary materials and equipment for the day's tasks.

• Drive on site with company vehicle to client sites

• Ensure safe setup of all tools, machinery, and equipment at the worksite.

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding as required.

• Measure, mark, and organize materials based on lead installer's instructions upon arrival at the job site.

• Cut and shape structures, forms, or fixtures from wood, polyurethane, wood composite, or other specified materials.

• Utilize various hand and power tools to construct assigned projects securely.

• Securely join materials using appropriate fasteners or adhesives.

• Verify work accuracy using tools such as levels and framing squares.

• Assist in maintaining tools and equipment in safe and operational condition.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, promptly reporting any safety violations to management.

• Collaborate effectively with the team and follow lead installer's instructions and guidelines.

The essential functions of this role include

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
