Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster

PRIMARY PURPOSE : To apply current Workers' Compensation knowledge and experience to audit indemnity and medical-only claims.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audit assigned Workers' Compensation indemnity and medical-only claims with 2023 date of loss to determine compliance pursuant to California state law

• Take necessary action to correct non-compliant claims to be in compliance

• Present audit results to management

• Maintain professional client relationships

• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred

Experience

Four (4) years of Workers' Compensation claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required

• Must have active Workers' Compensation adjuster's license

• Must be able to provide proof of aforementioned certification and license

• Additional preferred designations: WCCA, WCCP, CPWC, SIP

Must provide own cell phone and laptop for this assignment

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $35.00/Hr .
