The Resource and Business Management team, within the Risk Chief Administrative Office, has strategic and operational responsibilities to support Citi's Chief Risk Officer and the Independent Risk Management (IRM) organization to achieve its priorities. This includes Resource and Financial Planning, Executive Scorecards, Location Strategy, Continuity of Business and other projects. The Senior Lead Manager role for Workforce Management, within the Resource and Business Management team, will support the team across a wide variety of Workforce Management initiatives and deliverables in partnership with other members of the Resource and Business Management as well as CAO's/Business Execution Leads across the IRM organization.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Develop and lead analysis on position and headcount management, supporting IRM senior leaders and IRM Resource and Business Management team
Develop content for executive stakeholder presentations related to human capital metrics
Ensure monitoring and streamlined decision making on human capital metrics including organization health metrics, attrition, retention, recruitment, and location strategy
Provide ad hoc analysis as deemed necessary working with the multiple internal IRM stakeholders and throughout Citi functions including HR and Finance teams
Implement and drive Demand and Capacity Analysis across IRM segments working with multiple stakeholders including CAO's/Business Execution Leads and Human Resources while ensuring Consent Order deliverables are met in a timely manner
Execute Demand and Capacity Analysis across 1000+ direct staff and provide overall outcomes including opportunities and risks to senior management
Review, design, and execute on improvements to the IRM Workforce Management processes and strategy
Identify process improvement opportunities and ensure we have appropriate controls, procedures, and documentation across the team and that established guidelines/policies are adhered to and updated as necessary.
Develop content and manage internal team communication and agendas for leadership meetings
Use excellent communication and strong management skills to influence a wide range of stakeholders including internal and external audiences; work closely and collegially with IRM CAOs and Business Execution Leads
Ensure timely execution on critical items
Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor's degree, Masters Optional
10+ years or relevant experience in financial services industry
Experience in financial services preferred.
Proven track record managing key deliverables with high senior management visibility on time and through strong partnerships across different businesses and functions
Proven organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills with prior experience interfacing with Citi Senior Management at the Director and Managing Director level
Skills:
Methodical and proactive thinker who is also detail oriented with demonstrated project management skills and the ability to execute across IRM teams with high quality and strict timetables
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and data management/ mining
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proven time and task management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively and promptly
Ability to influence and challenge senior management with data and strategic thinking
Strong analytical ability
