Applebee's and IHOP's parent company is on the hunt to buy a fast-casual chain within a year (DIN)

Applebee's and IHOP's parent company — Dine Brands — is planning to acquire a new fast-casual chain by the end of 2018.  "We want to get into a category that's growing faster than the categories we're in," Dine Brands CEO Stephen Joyce told Business Insider.
