    Responsibilities

    SCA Health is seeking a

    n Associate Director

    of Integration who will be fully dedicated to SCAH's de novo

    , relocation, renovation,

    expansion

    and construction related

    project efforts.

    The

    Associate Director

    of Integration will work closely with new partnerships, SCA

    H

    ’s operational leadership, clinical and support services teams, as well as a variety of external vendors.

    of Integration are expected to work independently leading complex projects while ensuring process standardization and scalability

    Job Summary

    This position is r

    esponsible for the simultaneous management of multiple projects with varying size and complexity. Project types include construction and development of new ASC

    ’s

    (de novo),

    renovations

    , relocations, or expansions of existing facilities

    , ASC’s, or Surgical Hospitals

    , along with various

    construction projects as needed to support the enterprise.

    The role will include

    project

    management of the entire project life cycle, from the planning stages to the complete execution of the workplan.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Drive accountability with the project team to ensure de novo and construction projects

      utilize

      optimized resources and tools to ensure consistent outcomes on time and in budget.

    • Collaborate and lead as

      required

      estimating, contracting, bidding,

      vendor

      RFPs, design review, value engineering, submittal review

      or supervision

      , contractor meetings, change order approval

      guidance

      , budget oversight, pay apps

      submissions

      , site visits, punch walks, and closeouts.

    • Partner with support services departments to ensure effective communication, facility support, and efficient use of SCAH

      resources

    • Develop and/or provide education to support role clarity,

      accountability

      and empowerment of key

      stakeholders

    • Lead the resolution of cross-functional

      /lane

      issues

    • Summarize and communicate proposed solutions with the

      appropriate audience(s)

      in a manner tailored to their understanding, level, or

      experience

    • Escalate issues to senior management when

      appropriate

    • Provide supervision and oversight to external

      consultants

    • Create,

      manage

      and

      maintain

      design and material standards for ASC

      projects

    • Provide direct oversight of construction related licensure enrollment

      process

    • Initiate and support special projects: Renovations, Relocations, Expansions, HVAC/BAS standardization, Process improvement.

    • Support the building of a bench of teammates able to own De Novo projects.

    • Maintain current and relevant knowledge of:

    • FGI guidelines as related to ambulatory

      surgery centers

      and

      hospitals

    • State Licensure requirements

    • NFPA Guidelines

    • CMS Deemed Status Accreditation Standards

    • Provide leadership, oversight and interface with all team members, architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, building management, facility staff,

      physicians

      and hospital leadership.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in or related to healthcare, construction,

      architecture

      or business

      required

      masters’

      preferred.

    • 5+ years project management experience with ambulatory surgery center construction

      required

    • Strong understanding of best-in-class project management processes and solutions.

    • Strong understanding of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Surgical Hospitals and healthcare industry preferred.
