    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for First-Line Industrial Engineering Managers to support both Program and Fabrication Industrial Engineering (IE) teams based in Everett, Renton, and Auburn WA .

    As an Industrial Engineering First-Line Leader, you will be working closely with Operations leaders and other stakeholders as we improve safety, quality, productivity and prepare for future rate increases. The BCA IE team you will be leading provides a critical role in helping Operations manage the production system and improving processes for into the future.

    Position responsibilities:

    • Manages employees performing industrial engineering activities associated with technical development, implementation, analysis and improvement activities throughout the business units.

    • Development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures in alignment with business plans, strategies, goals, and objectives.

    • Acquires and coordinates resources for projects and processes and provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

    • Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, peers, partners and direct reports.

    • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

    • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualification (Required Skills and Experience):

    • Bachelor's degree or higher.

    • 3+ years of experience in Operations/Industrial Engineering.

    • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

    • Experience with implementation of Lean Manufacturing Principles.

    • Use of Systematic Problem Solving.

    • Advanced computer skills with proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel.

    • Experience establishing partnerships and relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports and conveying organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of work group, project or process goals.

    • Experience in identifying opportunities to improve work-related products and processes within own work group, project or process and engaging and empowering employees to make process improvements.

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Summary pay range: $115,600 -$156,400
